This is definitely a rough, tough shirt. It's not soft on the skin. I may try some fabric softener on it. I usually wear Medium. I returned mine for a Large. I'm 5'11" 165 lbs. After the first wash, it is just a bit snug across the chest with the button closed. My chest is 40".

RI Selects Starter Pack

Have used them in 2 training sessions and one match (old boys). They’ve performed very well and have been very comfortable. Will see how their longevity over the next year or so but would recommend them. Very good price point as well.

Ireland Rugby Shield LS T-Shirt

My son likes that these are very lightweight and breathable. The fabric is substantial and not thin like every other sport short. It’s easy to run, squat and juke during the games because the cut leaves room for movement. They are pricey but have lasted much wear and tear over the last 1+ years of wearing and washing. They don’t fade and look almost new!!! He wears them so often, we are going to buy them in white this year.

While I recognize the practical value of the current skin tight and eloborately printed synthetic jerseys, nothing can match the mix of casual elegance, comfort and practicality of a traditional cotton rugby jersey.
