This is definitely a rough, tough shirt. It's not soft on the skin. I may try some fabric softener on it. I usually wear Medium. I returned mine for a Large. I'm 5'11" 165 lbs. After the first wash, it is just a bit snug across the chest with the button closed. My chest is 40".

Have used them in 2 training sessions and one match (old boys). They’ve performed very well and have been very comfortable. Will see how their longevity over the next year or so but would recommend them. Very good price point as well.

My son likes that these are very lightweight and breathable. The fabric is substantial and not thin like every other sport short. It’s easy to run, squat and juke during the games because the cut leaves room for movement. They are pricey but have lasted much wear and tear over the last 1+ years of wearing and washing. They don’t fade and look almost new!!! He wears them so often, we are going to buy them in white this year.

While I recognize the practical value of the current skin tight and eloborately printed synthetic jerseys, nothing can match the mix of casual elegance, comfort and practicality of a traditional cotton rugby jersey. These are very much player weight, with highly saturated dies, a great collar and placket. If you played on a side fduring the 60’s-90’s - this is your legacy drinking jersey. Ruck on!

You can feel the quality when you wear this shirt. Thick enough to be all you need for colder days and breathable enough to be good for moderate/warm days. I don’t play rugby at the moment, but have worn this for other sports like adult flag football, baseball, basketball and it allows full range of motion without any constricting feel.

I purchased the CAL branded version of this jersey with the blue collar, but I wanted the white collar version, which this was. I personalized it with a CAL embroidered patch and now I'm in the game! I love Barbarian TM Rugby Jerseys!
