For accurate sizing, use a measuring tape to measure the waist circumference and inside leg. To measure the waist circumference, measure all the way around the natural waist (the narrowest part of your waist). Try to keep the tape measure level. Gilbert trousers and shorts are elasticated so there are always plenty of room for movement. If you're confused, use the hip measurement. Measure all the way around the fullest part of the hip. Try to keep the tape level. To measure the inside leg, measure from the top of the inside leg to the bottom of your heel. Please remember you can always take a trouser up if they are a little long by turning the waistband up or hemming them.
